I just love this whole series. The author creates some very quick reads with great stories that are sweet, funny and hot at the same time. Here is my break down.Scrooge McFu*k
Piper had worked for McFinley Investments for a long time. She was hired part-time by the CEO of the company at that time and now that he retired she is his son, Ben's assistant. She sees him as rude, entitled and womanizing. Ben tells his friend "There is a woman. I can't get her out of my mind" Piper wants someone who will take the time to get to know her first and foremost as a friend. Could there ever be a situation to arise which will open Piper's eyes and show her Ben may be the guy for her? I really enjoyed this story!
Psyhcobitch
A very well written, fast moving read. Lucy has her dream job and is an assistant to Carter Harris, the CEO of Harris toys. She is horrified one day to hear her high school crush dismiss her talents, just due to the way she looks. Patrick, who was nick-named Trick in school, is the CFO of the company. He consistently ignores her. That is until circumstances warrant that she act as Patrick's assistant for a time. Now is her time to show Patrick how capable she is. Patrick is rightfully impressed but also gets to see what type of person she is too. This book has a lot packed into a quick read.
Them Back Dimples
Dr. Wren Richards is extremely dedicated and making great progress as a surgeon. Through friends, he ends up letting Cali stay with him after she escapes an abusive relationship. In exchange for a place to stay, she insists on keeping his place clean. When Cali starts getting her life together will Wren be ready to let her go? Nice story with likable characters.

It’s like a get-together with your best girlfriends!!! I laughed out loud, giggled here and there, and snickered at the witty banter. Of course a gathering of friends isn’t complete without some “do tell” and if they’re really good friends, they’ve indulge ALL the hot and steamy parts, back you up, defend the heck out of you, and really know how to make you care for them (shoot May, you made my mascara run).
I could not stop myself from liking these real-to-life women and their sexy leading man. Reading these books you get to know these cool women and just what life handed them. May Sage writes these characters in their own flare as they handle their business, get the hunky memorable sexy man, and still manages to surprise you. Not going to truthfully account for how many times I cheered “you go girl!” I will admit it was a number of times.
The wonderful insight to these books is that as in real life, I’d LOVE to spend days and days with my girlfriends. But I can’t. My life is too busy and most times, I’m sacrificing something to get an extended “me time”. With these books, it’s a few quality hours curled up indulging with a good friend or on a special occasion, a weekend get-a-way with all three. Either way, it’s going be a good time and time well spent
These three novellas were very well-written and entertaining.
Scrooge McFuck - Piper is an executive assistant for a rude, entitled Scrooge of a boss who is also a hunk. One day Bennet pushes Piper too far and she walks out. He think she's kidding but when she does not return to work he heads to her place to tell her off. But then he realizes he doesn't know as much as he thought he did...
Bring on the Psychobitch - Lucy has been working for Harris Toys for years when her boss asks her to work for the CFO, Trick, who was a jerk to her from the moment she started at the company. Trick has a simple straightforward life plan and does not deviate - until his best friend makes him work with Lucy.
Them Back Dimples - Cali was abused by her last boyfriend and doesn't trust men. Richard is a brilliant doctor, but his home is a mess. His friends ask him to take in Cali, who needs a break, as his housekeeper. Cali and Richard are completely adorable together and I loved reading their story.
Each book can be read as a standalone story, though they are part of a series with related characters. I can't wait to read more books in this series!
Each book was different but still good. I loved how some of the characters were in both books
Book one is about Piper who was a rich girl until she got pregnant and then her parents disowned her but luckily one of her fathers friend has a kind heart and got her a job at his company and made his son take her on after he retired. His son Ben is unaware of her predicament so he just thinks she is a spoiled rich girl. Until one day she quits bc she has to leave early to get her sick daughter and he wont let her. Then he winds up at her home to discover he was wrong about her and feels awful. He tries to make ammends and who can resist her daughter little Maya.
The second book is with Lucy and Trick. Lucy works at a toy company and on day 1 she overhears her new boss partner ask why he hired a barbie with no brains. Lucy wouldnt have cared but she actually knew Trick from highschool but apparently he didnt remember. 6 years later she still hates him but he needs her help and has no time to get anyone else. Will Trick find out why this independent strong woman hates him so much when they dont talk to each other. Will working together bring them closer or further apart.
Book 3 is with Cali and Wren. Cali was saved one night by Lucy when her abusive boyfriend tried to hit her. Lucy finds her a place to live since she has no job or money. It happens to be with one of Tricks friends named Wren who is a surgeon. She offers to be the maid because she doesnt want to impose and he agrees. They get closer living together but will Cali be able to trust a man again and will Wren give up his playboy ways?
